On Saturday, Deg and I celebrated our 7th anniversary. I was amazed 8 1/2 years ago that he would even ask me out, I was overjoyed 7 1/2 years ago that he asked me to marry him, and I was over the moon to make it official 7 years ago today. Our life together hasn't been what either of us pictured, for better and worse, but there's no way I would trade our life for anything. Deg makes me stronger and is the best example of selflessness I've ever known. He is my best friend and my boyfriend and the greatest husband of all time.
