Lindsey's Spring Break

Well, exactly one week after my mom and dad left, my mom came back with Lindsey for a few days of her spring break. I was, of course, more than happy to have them, and we had a great time. It's been so fun to kind of be the hotel for family and friends who want to come hang out with us - we get to see lots of people and do lots of cool things. Living in Indiana for three years was great, but we are loving the family visits that seem to happen all the time now. Party at my house!

We had a really relaxing, fun time. Mom and Linds would go play tennis every morning for a few hours. Then, we'd let Lindsey lay out while DJ napped and my mom and I ran errands. Then, we'd get ourselves to one of four malls (I mean, why not) and shop until it was time to meet Deg for dinner. That's seriously what we did all week, and it was fantastic!

To be fair, we did go on a hike one day to the train tunnel trail that I've mentioned in previous posts, so that was cool. But mostly we hung out and shopped and dragged DJ all around with us. It was awesome!

DJ loves his Aunt Yinz

Favorite aunt (sorry, Amber, you got ousted!)

It was more than warm enough to justify letting him run around the splash pad while more shopping happened.

Not the greatest picture of any of us (Lindsey's and Mom's faces are super stretched and I look like I could use an 8 hour nap), but still so fun to all be together.

After they left here, they flew to Boise to meet Annie, my brother Ryan's new daughter. I asked my mom if she'd tote along a quilt I made for that sweet girl, which she did. And because I love that little girl AND you, dear reader, here are some bonus pics of Annie Girl!

Annie, modeling that quilt.

I mean, seriously. She is beyond cute.

I just can't stop the feels that are happening! She is so SO cute!
