The Year of the Hall

It's a big year for all 5 of the Scott Hall kids. And by a big year, I really mean a big few months, because everything is happening all at once. And it's all so good and it just fills my heart with joy. Don't worry, you can join in the joy with me. I'll break the excitement up by sibling.

Jess and Deg
After 6 years with a company that really pushed his skills and provided incredible and invaluable experience, it's time for Deg to hang his hat at another company. He starts tomorrow morning (well, I guess this morning, since I'm going to publish this after midnight) at a company that is so cool. He's going to direct all IT operations at a company that provides new and innovative software for security cameras. I am so proud of him and so very excited to see him spread his wings. And, not to go into too much detail (because I can't because I don't speak computer tech), but I am so excited to see him get to try something new and different. Go Deggy!

He's a hottie.

Amber and Ryan
Welcome to the world, Harper Maree! She was born on Friday afternoon, and holy moly is she freaking adorable. Amber really had to work to get that little girl here, but she is so worth it. I mean, look at that face! Don't worry, I'm already her favorite. :) In case you wanted stats, she is 8 pouns 11 ounces, 21.5 inches, and 100% the cutest baby ever. Amber is going to be the best mom ever, and Ryan is the most darling dad you've ever seen. Heart melting!

I can't wait to meet her.
Seriously, she is beautiful.

 Ryan and Brooke
We have a doctor in the house! Ryan graduated this weekend from MD school at UW with full honors. Their cute family is now moving to Phoenix so Ry can start his residency in otolaryngology (ear/nose/throat for us non-doctors) at the Mayo Clinic there. I'm so excited for him to be in this stage, but, if I'm honest, I'm more excited that they'll be 4 hours away from me. Seriously, they're gonna get sick of me. But it's going to be an exciting journey for them. We're proud of you, Ry Ry!

I can't believe that baby brother of mine is all grown up and cleared to operate on other humans.

Dan
Not only did this kid rock the casbah with his singing talents, both with the BYU Men's Chorus while on a trip to Africa and with Alex Boye (both videos below), but he graduated with full honors from BYU. And in July, he'll be starting medical school at the University of Utah.  This kid... if I was as smart and focused and dedicated as him... well... I'm too distracted to figure out what I might be able to do with all that stuff. But Dan has worked his fanny off and has been rewarded with some incredible opportunities. Plus he's a single hottie, so those babes in SLC are pretty lucky, too.

Danny bustin' it out in Africa

Don't be distracted by the obviously not Danny person on the screen grab - he totally has a sweet duet part in here that will give you chills.

Look at that good looking group!
I had to include this one. These two have the best sibling relationship ever. I love them.

Lindsey
Or should I say, Lindsey and Nick? That's right, Lindsey is all grown up and getting married to one of the coolest kids around. Lindsey is a tough but sensitive, beautiful, smart, talented young woman (wasn't she, like, 8 about a second ago?) and I couldn't be more excited that she has found someone who not only sees all those great things about her, but compliments and accentuates them. And Nick, he's so awesome. He's one of the hardest working kids I've ever seen, plus he has the most enjoyable personality. They are going to be a power couple, plus they are dang attractive!

I mean, seriously. They are just darling.

I'm crying. They are adorable.

Stop it. Just stop. Stop being so cute!
See? I told you it was a big year/couple of months! If you aren't feeling the feels by now, you might want to get that checked out by a medical professional, because oh my heck, how amazing is all of this? I am so grateful for the blessings that have come and are coming to all these people who I love and care so much about. My heart is full.
