Auntie Lisa

Deg's brother, Dan, married an awesome gal named Lisa. She had the opportunity to attend a conference in Vegas, and decided to take a few days after and stay with us. My Idaho trip overlapped her stay with us by one night, but we still got to hang out and had a really great time. Thursday when DJ and I got back, Lisa had a migraine, which stinks, but I was exhausted from the previous night, so everyone got a nap (yay!) and everyone felt better after. Then we went for a short hike, made dinner, and snuggled up to watch Frozen.

Making dinner - DJ's trying to figure out how to get face first in that fried rice!

The next day, we sent Deg off to work and headed out to Hoover Dam. We did the bridge, the power plant tour, got some lunch, and found some fun souvenirs. We then came back and basked in the sun by the pool until Deg came home. We went out for sushi and followed that up with driving down the strip. Since it was a very crowded Friday night, we didn't stop, but it was fun to see all of it lit up.
Hoover Dam!

Lisa left crazy early the next day, and we were sad to see her go. We loved having her here and spending time with her. DJ loved her and I love that he got such a fun and unique opportunity to spend some one on one time with her. Come back any time, Lisa!
