Happy Halloween!

I love Halloween. Dressing up, having parties, awesome decorations, delicious holiday food... What's not to love? Well, having DJ around led to a whole new level of Halloween awesomeness: dressing up your baby. So you know I went all out, dressing DJ as a lobster (complete with pot and cooking spoon), Deg as a chef, and myself as a waitress. I had a blast making DJ's costume (you know how I love crafts). Let me show you how great it turned out:

DJ was the star of our ward trunk or treat and Deg's work Halloween party. He won funniest costume (complete with a certificate and a $5 gift card to Cold Stone Creamery) at the trunk or treat and helped Deg win 1st place at his work's party (a not insignificant $75 award). We also went trick or treating with some of our new friends here. OK we mostly walked around with them and their kids - not like DJ can get all up in that candy yet, and it's obnoxious when parents take infants trick or treating to get candy. But we had an absolute blast. Hope you all had a safe, fun Halloween, too!
