Christmas at the Valentines

Disclaimer: I'm obsessed with my niece, so there are going to be a bazillion pics of her in this post.

John and Linda went to a neighbor's house to wish them a happy holiday. So why not dress the part? I think John really hit the nail on the head... or antler.

Notice how Audrey is completely bored with Deg's goofy faces. She was not amused.

That's my girl! You've got to raise 'em right!

Look at that darling Christmas elf? Don't you just want to eat her up?

Um... could that hat and coat be any cuter? Thanks, Auntie Lynn?

This high chair was used by John when he was a baby. It folds down into a rocker toy. Audrey really is enjoying it, despite her face. She'd doing a "Roscoe," her uncle's bulldog. She's scrunching her nose to be just like him.

What's better than a tin full of Grandpa's Patio Mix? Not much. I mean, look at that face!

This was my favorite present. While cleaning out some closets, John found an MRI of Deg's head. He was in a control group for a study on Autism in 1997, and they got to keep the image. How wicked funny is that? I was crying I was laughing so hard. Also - note that Deg's nose doesn't completely fit on the image? Ba ha ha ha! (Sorry, Deg - I still love you!)

Grandpa John decided to entertain Audrey with is reindeer get-up. PS - can you believe she's walking!?!

Being the good dad and uncle they are, Chris and Deg gave Audrey her first sip of Dew. Meagan loved that one.

I made some pillows in the shape of swords, light sabers, ninja stars, and grenades so that Deg and Chris could have a for-real pillow fight. The battle was one when Deg inadvertently junk-punched Chris with a machete.

The cousins showed up, and the battle resumed!

We had so much fun and are so grateful we got to go. It was just so great to see everyone.
