Day 21

Day 21: your favorite television program

Um... I have to pick one? Let me do a list of my faves and then I'll tell you about my current top 2. That's as good as it's gonna get. So here we go. I love:

1. 24
2. Fringe
3. Community
4. Mythbusters
5. Anything on the Food Network
6. Reruns of Saved by the Bell, 90210, or pretty much any other early 90s teen drama

So that brings us to my current top two. I'll start with ABC's Castle. I'm not a really big fan of cop shows. They seem to be the same things over and over and sometimes you need a little humor. This is why Castle is great for me. First of all, I love Nathan Fillian as Richard Castle. He kills me. And I have a little platonic crush on Kate Beckett and her ability to catch the killer. The gritty detail isn't too muddled in monotony, and this is because of the crazy author tagging along. Plus I love his family. And that is all I have to say about that.

The other TV show I can't get enough of is The Big Bang Theory. 4 nerds and a hot chick. I don't know that I can totally relate, but when Deg and I were dating, I got put on the roommate chore chart. Granted, I was the chore (har har, guys), but it was the four of them and me. So, though they're not as nerdy as Howard, Raj, Sheldon and Leonard and I'm certainly no Penny, I can, to a degree, relate. I also love that I get to watch Deg get their nerdy jokes when I just laugh at the fact that they make nerdy jokes. I love Leonard and Penny (I also just love Leonard - nerd crush!) and I seriously wish I had a Sheldon in my life. That would be AWESOME.

PS I walked for 30 minutes today. I have no idea what the distance was, but it was 30 minutes of walking. I know, walking is lame, but it's all I had in me after a nearly 10 hour work day.
