In order to both calm myself and to realize the humor in the situation mentioned below, I will rewrite the entire personal trainer files as if it were a steamy soap opera relationship. The names will be changed to protect both the innocent AND the guilty. We shall call it: As the Treadmill Turns And yes, it will come in installments. Today's episode: The Meeting

It was a blistery winter afternoon. The wind whipped at the trees, frozen solid in the yard. Jennifer gripped the steering wheel in fear and resignation as she contemplated her next move. She turned the key to shut off her car, cutting off her heat supply with it, and took one last deep breath before opening the door. The wind and snow cut through her clothes like tiny icepicks. She threw her hands deep in the pockets of her blue winter jacket and turned her head away from the wind as she fought her way to the door. She knocked and waited for an answer.

Mike sat quietly at his desk, looking at his photos of his favorite protein drinks. He collected them and was dreaming of adding a new brand or flavor to his whey protein collection. He was engrossed in his protein; he spent hours a day re-organizing and labeling them for the perfect usage after the perfect workout. His dream was to one day own his very own protein brand, with his rock-hard face scowling from the label. He was sure this move was right around the corner for him and was dreaming of the facial expression perfect for the canister, when he heard a knock at the door. He jumped. Who would interrupt his protein time? He slowly rose his bulking figure from the chair and swaggered to the door.

There she was, covered in snow, eyes hidden from view. He grunted to usher her in. She scurried through the door and quickly brushed the tiny yet numerous flakes from her hair and coat. And then, she looked up with her large blue eyes. Mike knew right then and there that this was destiny. They had met for a reason on this blistery Wednesday afternoon. She would lead him to his protein-laden destiny.
