I'm feeling a little blue. It happens. We all feel blue from time to time. So in reflecting upon why I feel blue and how I can feel better, I've come up with a list of the 10 things that make me less navy-shaded.
1. Baths. Lots and lots of baths. Mmmm hot water.
2. Naps. Lots and lots of naps.
3. Listening to music through headphones. I don't know what it is about headphones, but the world seems better when I'm plugged in.
4. Juice. I don't normally seek out/drink juice. But when I'm blue, there's nothing like a Fuze or a Sobe.
5. Shopping. Yep, that one always works.
6. Taking me time. That means doing whatever I want to do rather than whatever I feel like I need to do. Wasting a little time does a body good.
7. Work. Though doing my own thing for awhile is nice, I also find that if, after my personal time, I get on task and get a'working, I feel a whole lot better about things.
8. Swimming. I love the feeling of gliding through the water. I also love that, when doing laps, my body isn't screaming at me that it hates me the way it does when I run. Plus exercise helps clear the mind.
9. Ice cream. A little indulgence is nice. Chocolate fudge brownie or mint chocolate chip. And I don't need a lot, but a little scoop goes a long way.
10. Y Mountain. Drive up there, look at the view, and think. That always helps me clear my head.
So, because we all get to feeling blue occasionally (especially this time of year when it's freezing outside and the sun doesn't ever come out to play), what do you do to feel un-blue?

um, pretty much I second your list! where do you go swimming--i would like to find a comfortable place to spend more time in the water. I also read when I am blue.
