DJ wanted an Egypt birthday party. Because that's what kids always want, right? So DJ got an Egypt birthday party. And that took a lot of work and a lot of making stuff up. But it was hilarious and the kids had a great time. We did an archaeological dig, pin the beard on the Sphinx, colored pages of Egyptian scenes, beat a mummy pinata, wrapped ourselves in toilet paper, ate mummy dogs, ate a pyramid cake, and generally had a noisy but fun time with 11 kids. Wanna see? Of course you do!

| Archaeology activity - we buried marbles, fake jewels, and Egyptian figurines in sand and let the kids dig them out. This was probably the kids' favorite activity. |
