Catching up, part 1

I haven't written in a looooong time. So I will do a lot of catching up really quickly. Pictures are in tow, obviously.

This first group of pictures is just cute pictures of some fun things we've been doing.
We wear a lot of superhero masks around here. But when you wear one with a striped mask, you kind of look like a robber. An adorable robber, but a robber nonetheless.

Anki Overdrive is probably the coolest game ever, guys. You control it with your phone and remotely run these cars over this track. Luckily, our friend Donald let us play with his for a few days.

We went on a toddler field trip to Anderson Dairy with another little boy and his mom. DJ's friend was not feeling the picture. Oh well! I got this cute one of Deej and Calcie Yum, the mascot cow. She told them all about the dairy before they went on the tour and gave us all a huge scoop of ice cream after the tour was over.

DJ has been all about Kung Fu Panda, so when number 3 came out, we had to go see it in the theater. DJ loved it. I mean, a funny movie and popcorn? Sweet!

We took a trip to Provo to see Danny and Lindsey and the Provo Temple. For some reason, I have no idea why, we didn't take a picture of Lindsey, but we did see her! We took pictures of the rest of it, though.

The wait to get into the Provo temple was 3 hours. So... we saw the outside because that's ridiculous! The pictures are gorgeous. And it was fun to go back to Provo.

We went to the aquarium in Draper because DJ loves aquariums. It's seriously one of the best aquariums I've ever seen.

Uncle Danny is the best guy. We like him.

See? DJ likes him a lot! And that's saying something, because we told DJ that Uncle Danny took all his binkies.

And, as a bonus pic, DJ got to go to a Valentines Day candy exchange with his friends at the park.

My parents came to town soon after we returned to Vegas.. My dad spent the weekend and my mom stayed a few days after. We did a lot of shopping, but no one needs pictures of that, so I will spare you and post pictures of everything else we did.

We spent some time at the Natural History Museum. DJ took Grandma on a submarine ride in the toddler area.

We got to see a really realistic version of King Tut's tomb, too. DJ loves the "wrapped around mommies (mummies)." He loves to tell people about how they sleep in a sarcophagus. Because that's what two year olds should be talking about, right? :)

Grandma and Grandpa babysat one night so that Deg and I could go on a date. Basically that meant that Super Deej, Super Gramps, and Wonder Gram watched the BYU basketball game together.

After church on Sunday, we took G&G to see the Hoover Dam. My dad hasn't been in 15 years and wanted to check it out, and since we have to drive over to Boulder City for church, we figured we'd swing right over and check it out.

DJ and Grandma are really good at exercising!

We drove up to St. George one day to visit my mom's parents. I feel so blessed to be able to have all 4 of my grandparents around and as a part of me and my family's life.

Me and my cute mom. She's adorable. It was so fun to spend the week with her!
