Bowen family reunion

My mom's side of the family, for the most part, lives in Utah, so two weeks ago, my aunt who lives in Mapleton hosted a big reunion for everyone. Not all the cousins were there, but lots of them were. I haven't seen some of them since Ryan's wedding, or even previous to that! I got to meet some of the new babies, see some relatives I haven't seen in forever, and I got to visit with my adorable grandparents. I only snapped one pic (of the boys and the babies swimming), but we had such a fun time. It's a 6 hour drive for us, so it was a lot, but it was definitely worth it. We stayed the night with my aunt and left wicked early the next day to get back to teach our Sunday school class.

Girl cousins - I left us out for a reason! No girl wants to be photographed wearing a bathing suit!
While nothing incredibly story worthy happened, I was so impressed by the comfort and security that I have been blessed with by having such a wonderful family. I've come to realize what a blessing it is to have such a strong, loving base. Not everyone has that, and the fact that I do is pretty amazing. Not only that, but because of the sealing power of the temple, I get these folks forever, whether they like it or not! I'm so grateful for the time we got to spend with my cousins and their kids, my aunts and uncles, my siblings and my mom, and my grandparents. Go Team Bowen!
