Quick Post: G&G Bowen Visit

During the winters, my mom's parents are "snowbirds," or people who move south for the winter. They have a home in St. George, which just so happens to be 2 hours from where we are, so that is fantastic. We have been able to get together a few times since moving here, and today, they drove down to see our home and go to lunch with us. How nice is that? Seriously, they are some of the greatest people ever. But if you're reading this, there's like an 86% chance that you and I are related, so you already know how awesome they are.

There's not a ton to say. We had a ton of fun and they just loved being able to spend time with DJ. He was so good about giving them snuggles and then showing off all of his skills, from squeals of joy, to dragonlike growls, to crawling around and playing peekaboo, to walking while holding my hands. And I am so grateful that he gets to spend time with his great grandparents. I hope they're around for a long time for many reasons, one of which being that I hope DJ gets to have memories of them. Because, let's be real here, they are awesome people and great examples of followers of Christ.

I was able to get DJ to hold still just long enough to snap a picture of the three of them, and I want to share that with  you, dear reader.

Thanks again for coming, Grandma and Grandpa. Love you!
