I wish there was a tilde over the "n" in the title. Not important. Moving on...
A few weeks ago, we hit our year mark for both living in Indiana and for Deg's job. We celebrated by doing absolutely nothing and not thinking about it until a few days later. Obviously the year mark was important to us. However, looking back over the last year has been interesting for me. It's neat to see how much we've grown and how blessed we are. I mean, we knew no one here and had no idea where we were. Now, we are fully ensconced in our ward (for better and for worse), we have a good, solid group of amazing friends, we both have good jobs, and we feel like we are home. There's not much more to say than that. Indiana has become our home and we are so glad we have the opportunity to be here. Sure, we wish we were closer to family, but we know we are exactly where we need to be. We love it here and wouldn't trade this experience for the world. (Okay, maybe I'd trade the primary president thing, but that's just because I'm a whiner.) So happy year-a-versary to us, and here's to another great year in the midwest.
