(OK last post on this. I just had so much to say and so many pictures, it seemed ridiculous to put it into one super post.)
So a little bit more about Nashville, Tennessee. We walked down the main drag in Nashville. I took a picture with Elvis. I mean, like I could avoid that one!
We also ate at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville. The waiter was baffled that we only wanted water and Diet Coke. That's what you get from two Mormon women, though! It was a fun place to see, but definitely wouldn't go back. Oh well!On Sunday, I got my Personal Progress Award. I got it when I was 18, but that was the old program. So for the last couple of months, I've been working on earning the new one. I'm sure I'll be posting all about that later. It was really great to get it while my mom was here.
Our stake put on a special fireside on Sunday, which just was perfect with our awesome churchy weekend. One of the members of our stake was able to get Paul Cardall to come out and give us a fireside. He's an LDS composer who was born with half a heart. At 14, he had to have reconstructive surgery and get a pacemaker. In 2008, his heart was failing and had swollen to 4 times the normal size. It was killing all his other organs. He was told he had a year to live. He received a heart transplant, which saved his life. He played some of his beautiful songs and spoke about learning to rely on the Lord. It was seriously inspiring.
And then... we went home, hung out, went to bed, and woke up at 4:30 in the morning to get my mom off to the airport. We were exhausted, but we were so excited to have had the time together. Yay for the trip with my mom! She's just so great and it was amazing to get to do all of that with her.

That is so cool that you got to do all that with your mom. What a great experience.
