Day 27

Day 27: a talent of yours

Well, there is the crafty blog that lists all the projects I've done of late. So I guess you could say I'm creative? Or messy, depending on your prerogative.  A lot of times, I don't use patterns - I just start cutting or mixing or whatever until I either end in disaster or in success. I've always been about the crafting and creating. My mom used to give me a needle and thread and scraps of whatever fabric she had around and I would sew them all together, take them back off the string, and start again. Crafting and creating has become a great outlet for me not only because I like it but because I can finish something and say to myself, "Hey, look what you just did. That's awesome. No, you're  awesome because you made that." And there are times I could use all the positive reinforcement I can get. Deg got me a sewing machine for my birthday, so the messes are about to kick it up a notch. I've also been trying my hand at crocheting. I'll let you know how that goes once I finish the project. So yes, I'm a Holly Homemaker. And I'm proud of it.
