Harvest Homecoming

New Albany does this thing called Harvest Homecoming every October. The best way I can describe it is a family-friendly street fair that's kind of a combo of a state fair and an art show. Click here to read more about it. Anyway... I went yesterday afternoon with one of my girlfriends from work and Deg and I went today. It was a blast. It's gonna be picture-rific, so get ready:

Deg and I rode something called "The Tornado" and took pictures of each other in motion on the ride. We were going to ride something called "The Gravitron," but some kid puked in it. Yuck.

These next few are as follows: a view of the carnival part of the fair, a view of the car show, and a view of part of the street fair section, which only shows about 1/4 of that area.

Then, I took a picture of some of the big buildings in downtown Louisville, which you can see from right across the river. And then we have a pic of the bridge that takes us across the state line, the Ohio River, and into work every day.

Deg oogled at some old cars at the car show. One of them was decorated with a huge fake spider and ghouls driving it. Check it out!

I didn't take a picture of any of the food, which was a bummer. But if you've ever been to a carnival or state fair, you know what was goin' on there. Deep fried awesomeness at every turn. All in all, we spent about 3 hours wandering and it was a blast. Oh how I love my new home!
