Allergy Update

Went in for my test today. Have you ever done an allergy test? They're horrid! After 90 needle stabs on my back and ten on each arm, I was not only feeling some pain, but I was itching like crazy. Go figure - I mean, they did inject my back and arms with allergens, right? Well, guess who isn't allergic to anything food related? Good thing that's why I ended up in the hospital! I mean, I tested negative for every food item they could test for. I did, however, test positive for pollen, ragweed, and cats. Which I've known I'm allergic to since I was, like, 3. So... basically, this is where we stand: they did some blood work to test for some allergens that they couldn't test on my skin, and I go back in two weeks' from now to see what comes up there. Probably nothing. Hee hee! So there's no real diagnosis for me, but what the doctors think happened is that because I'd had a nasty migraine the day before that had left me a little sick to my stomach and out of it, so whatever hit my stomach was gonna react poorly. Sheesh. What a lovey medical conundrum I am! Really, though, I'm glad hat there's nothing weird that I'm allergic to. It's a lot easier this way, ya know? It's just so silly to go through this whole dying in the hospital bit. Hopefully that's the end of it. We'll see!
