Simple Joys

All this extra time is kind of driving me crazy. But then again, I have been able to experience some simple joys I wouldn't be able to otherwise:

* Sleeping in till 9 in the morning (which is 7 where I'm coming from, which is still sleeping in)
* Shaving my legs every day
* Watching reruns of Beverly Hills 90210 (I'm talking the original Tori Spelling ones)
* Aimlessly wandering through Wal-Mart
* Weaving about a bazillion anklets and bracelets
* Taking the Activia Challenge (which, by the way, I'm glad to report is awesome and has me pooping like a champ!)
* Having the time to just chill and talk about nothing and everything with Deg at night in bed rather than rushing strait into sleep
* Spontaneous date night with Deg, which included a small Butterfinger Blizzard and a trip to the top of the outdoor ampitheatre to watch the sun set
* Long, hot showers in the dark (well, until it was time to shave the legs and the light had to go on)
* Driving around, just for fun
* Helping Danny pass his college English course
* Having time to chat on the phone with my family during hours when they're actually available
* Quiet time to just think and dream and nap and pace and not have anything to interfere
* Grieving with the Sullenger family (who I know only through their blog) in the loss of their daughter
* Listening to Owl City while laying in the middle of the bed in just my garmies in the middle of the day
* Crying over the phone with C, Danny, Grandma, and via text with my cute visiting teaching companion of only one month
* Reflecting on my blessings and feeling the confirmation of the Spirit that we're here for specific reasons and, though I don't know what those reasons are right now, they are going to be fabulous and we will be so grateful for them
* Relaxing and letting go of the pressures of being the breadwinner and supporting our family on my little teensy teacher's salary alone
* Looking forward to a future that will one day include a house, a puppy, a mountain of crafts, and (again, emphasizing the one day part) babies
