Maybe it's because I'm on DayQuil, but...

These are the things my students said that made me laugh today:

"It's not our fault the polar bears are ding-dongs!"

"I was made in China!"

And, my favorite, a stumbling pronunciation of the word "gamin" which meant everyone noticed it and we had to look it up. Yes, it's pronounced "gay-min" and the definition is a homeless boy who wanders the streets. You can bet where the 8th graders took that one.
