The perfect Saturday

After a long and, well, to be frank, horrid week, everything seems much better. Why? Well, all because of yesterday. Let me walk you through it:

The sun was out and it was warm out... finally!

C and I got to go visit Amy (poor girl, she's in the hospital with a bout of pancreas ickyness). (Note - obviously not taken at the hospital, this was the best pic of all 3 of us I had...)

Then we went to the Gateway and found a load of good things at J.Crew on the sale rack.

And the same thing happened at the Ann Taylor loft!

So then we lunched at Z Tejas, which by the way, turned out to be insanely delicious and comes highly recommended by the both of us now. It should be noted that free drinks and a table on the deck happened to add to the pleasantness of the situation.

Then Deg met me and he and I went to play at the Clark Planetarium, which culminated in an incredibly amazing Imax 3D movie about the Hubble telescope. Worth seeing, for sure. Technology is awesome.

And then... I ate one of these... drool...

Ahhh..... all better now! Thank you, universe, for the wonderful day that C and I were both in dire need of and for the fun time with Deg which, thanks to school, we were also in dire need of.
