Adventures in Getting Married

So I got married on August 8, 2008 at 1:30 pm in the Idaho Falls temple. I grew up in IF, so I have always dreamed of getting married there. Because of the time, we took almost all our pictures with just the two of us before the ceremony, which made it nice for everyone else. Afterwards, we had a luncheon (that was more like a dinner) catered by Texas Roadhouse. We had this and the reception at the Ammon Stake Center, which was beautifully decorated. Because Deg is from MA, after the honeymoon we flew out there and were recepted there, as well. We had a cake, a ring ceremony, flowers, the whole shebang. It was pretty dang cool and I was thrilled to get to do it. Let me tell you what each of these pictures is about: 1. Deg and I walking toward the car, post MA reception. 2. Smooching outside the temple - we'd been married all of, like, 3 seconds. 3. Stealing a smooch at the MA reception, post ring ceremony. Adventures in honeymoon-land

Deg and I spent 5 days on the island of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. (Yes, insert, wedding-related joke here.) We stayed in the Bluebeard Castle Resort - how freakin cool. We snorkeled, toured, swam, fed lorakeets, fish, and stingrays, ate amazing food, relaxed, and had a generally amazing time. It was fabulous and I would so go back again.
