Tonight at about 7:00 pm, President Gordon B. Hinckley, president and prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, passed away at age 97. As with other members of this faith community, I find myself saddened at his loss and stirred to remembrance of a great man and a holy prophet. However, my faith in Jesus Christ and in His church remains stable and unshaken. A great man will be missed, but the church will go on, the rolling stone that cannot be stopped. Let us all hope that such great faith and fortitude as was found in President Hinckley will continue through each and every one of us. As previously mentioned in the title, my faith is stirred but not shaken.
