A good trick

Ah, teaching junior high. So full of adventures! For example...

Today, one of my kids sat at my desk before class started. I didn't really care because she's one of my best students and I knew I didn't have to worry about her stealing stuff or whatever. I told her to move and knew she would, so turned my back to answer another student's question. A few minutes pass, the bell rings, and class begins. As they are completing their initial assignment, I mosey back to my computer to enter roll.

My laptop was partially open. And there was a large tarantula in it. My biggest fear is spiders. I screamed... and then realized the big black and purple thing was obviously plastic. Then I started laughing really hard. It was so funny. I took a picture, which I will upload when I'm not at school supposed to be teaching.

It was a good trick.
